PharmaPrep ("we", "us", or "our") operates the website www.pharmaprep.in. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our service.

• Study data: Your MCQ answers, bookmarks, streaks, and progress are stored only in your browser's localStorage. This data never leaves your device and is not sent to our servers.
• Email address (optional): If you subscribe to our newsletter, your email is stored with our email service provider (Mailchimp / ConvertKit).
• Cookies: We use cookies for analytics (Google Analytics) and advertising (Google AdSense). See Section 4.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide, maintain, and improve our educational platform
• To understand how students use PharmaPrep and improve content
• To send you study tips and exam updates (only if you subscribed)
• To show relevant advertisements that fund the free platform
• To comply with legal obligations

3. Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand site usage. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect anonymised data including pages visited, session duration, and approximate location. This data is processed by Google LLC. You can opt out by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

4. Google AdSense & Cookies

We use Google AdSense to display advertisements. Google may use cookies (including the DoubleClick cookie) to serve ads based on your prior visits to our site and other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings or aboutads.info.

Study data (answers, bookmarks, streaks) is stored in your browser's localStorage and remains until you clear your browser data. Analytics data is retained by Google for 26 months. Newsletter emails are retained until you unsubscribe.

• Request correction or deletion of your personal data

PharmaPrep is intended for pharmacy students (generally 18+). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us immediately.

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your information. However, no internet transmission is 100% secure. Study data is stored only on your device and never transmitted to our servers.

10. Third-Party Links

Our website may contain links to third-party sites (e.g., PDF download links). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites and encourage you to review their privacy policies.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of our service after changes constitutes acceptance.
